Shortcuts to the project
The development and testing of the XKatalog was carried out for our customer, the Senator for Finance in Bremen, between the University of Koblenz, KoSIT, and us, and is part of the cooperation project for the standards-based digitization of the public purchasing and procurement process. The customer is a central financial authority that deals with the optimization and digitization of administrative processes. Between October 2024 and December 2024, we pursued the goal of piloting and testing an interoperable standard for public procurement, the XKatalog. The result was the successful development of a prototype for an ordering system and the piloting and validation of the XKatalog as a new national standard, which brought the customer another step closer to digitizing its procurement processes. This standard is based on the European standard EN17015 EPP Catalog and the Peppol BIS Catalog and can therefore also be used internationally.
