Shortcuts to the project
Gebr. Heinemann, a global retailer and distributor in travel retail, offers a diverse product portfolio at airports, on cruise ships, and in diplomatic zones. Our SAP experts successfully migrated the B2C web shop from an on-premise solution to an SAP cloud license model. The goal of the project was to improve the scalability of the system and ensure long-term support for modern SAP technologies. With the migration, we created a future-proof foundation that supports the company in its global expansion and digital development.
Scalable e-commerce solution
The main goal of the project was to replace the on-premise web shop and migrate completely to SAP Commerce Cloud. This change enables continuous support and future technology upgrades, ensuring long-term system stability.
As part of the project, we also updated the SAP Commerce version and successfully migrated the database, laying the foundation for a powerful and future-proof platform.
