IAM operational and consulting services for NORD/LB

At the beginning of 2020, we launched an initiative together with NORD/LB for a project and operating partnership in key areas of identity and access management.

Shortcuts to the project

At the beginning of the partnership, our joint efforts focused on the operational management of the bank's IAM platform, and we also provided support on various technical architecture issues. In the years that followed, we continued to intensify our collaboration with NORD/LB. Most recently, we expanded the platform to include application management for the Beta Systems Garancy Suite and plan to integrate additional applications in the future. Thanks to our IAM services, NORD/LB was able to focus its resources on strategic business goals while ensuring a robust, future-proof IAM landscape.

2020 – technical application operation
The partnership with NORD/LB began in mid-2020 after a six-month preparation phase with the takeover of technical application operations for Garancy, including operational control and monitoring/reporting. Thanks to an intensive joint project phase and our extensive technical expertise, this transition went smoothly.
2021 – IAM Services (technical application operation)
Since 2021, our IAM experts have taken on additional tasks in the IAM service by acting as a direct interface to the internal departments of NORD/LB's central authorization management.
2023 – Application Management Services
Since mid-2023, the collaboration has been further intensified by outsourcing application management for the Garancy Suite.
2024 - Intensification of cooperation
Increased cooperation is planned for 2024, with the outsourcing of application management for additional central applications for authorization management.

Optimization and security through customized IAM solutions

NORD/LB's IAM architecture is based on the Beta Systems Garancy Suite, which is supplemented by customized solutions such as digital authorization concepts and the management of special and technical accounts. By implementing the new IAM system, NORD/LB has achieved greater automation and efficiency in authorization management. Our partnership represents a successful model for supporting and optimizing IAM processes in a highly regulated environment. By outsourcing its IAM services, NORD/LB can focus on further developing its strategic business processes and goals, while our experts effectively manage the IAM platforms.
